The Mountains are calling and I must go John Muir Quaint mountain cabin nestled within the large pines and towering aspen forest of Big River Ranch. Located between South fork and Creede Big River Ranch is a gated community on the Rio Grande River. The original cabin on the property was constructed circa 1938 and has been maintained in the original configuration with a single room with kitchen/sleeping area and attached bathroom. Attached via a porch is the newer cabin addition completed in 2001 that provides; two additional bedrooms, a larger kitchen with eat in dining, living/sitting room, a full bath and large utility room with washer and dryer. The addition added a large front porch perfect for enjoying your first cup of coffee in the morning and telling the fishing tales in the evening. The property has two additional storage buildings to keep all your mountain gear close and ready. This will be your headquarters for all adventures and expedition all of the stories start here! The Big River Ranch is a seasonal development that opens on May 15th and closes on October 15th each year. The properties are serviced by a community water and sewer systems. Short term rentals are not allowed within the development.
