Welcome to the Wapiti Cross Ranch! The 61 acres +/- lies at the south end of Cross Mountain and just minutes away from the confluence of the Yampa River and the Little Snake River. The area is covered with thousands of acres of public land for hunting, hiking, biking and recreation! The potential income for the cabins are great as adventure seekers come for the wild horses, rafting, hunting or just to enjoy the quietness that NW Colorado offers!
Land: The 61 acres +/- sits at the south end of cross mountain and is made of a mixture of Juniper trees and open sagebrush ground. The land is located just off of Highway 40 for great year around access, power and water well.
Improvements: Each unit sleeps four people and they are 100% non-smoking. Each unit is fully equipped with heat, bath, fridge and microwave. The sleeping areas have 2 full bunks and 2 twin bunks and each cabin has dining table/chairs. Each cabin has a porch and plenty of room for trucks and large trailers.
Recreation: Recreation possibilities in the area are limitless. Rivers that are really close consist of the Yampa, Little Snake and the well known Green River. This is a wild untamed country and one can never know what they might encounter in their adventures. With thousands and thousands of public lands and miles and miles of accessible river at your feet this area has huge outdoors adventure possibilities!
Location: Located in beautiful northwest Colorado and home to one of the largest deer and elk herds in the nation. Wapiti Cross Ranch is situated just 14 miles west of Maybell off US Hwy 40 in Moffat County and just over an hour to Vernal, Utah placing you right in prime elk country.
