Sportsman’s Paradise! This cabin is located in the Elkhorn Ranch Community. This small rustic cabin is located in Park County, Colorado, at Elkhorn Ranches, near the town of Como. This retreat is totally off the grid – no water (has community well and you could add your own well or cistern) or electricity other than a generator (electricity is available) Shower needs to be re-tiled. The patio hides the house’s concrete supports. The wood frame and stucco getaway rests on top of a rocky 2 acre site. There is a nearby well and outhouses and several streams, brooks, rivers and lakes for bathing (with biodegradable soap), or wood-fire heated water for the occasional hot shower. There is an outhouse 1/3 rd mile down the hill. The 640 square foot dwelling has a 330 square foot patio deck and the house is furnished with all sorts of artifacts from the owner’s travels and experiences. HOA fees cover Community picnic area with community outhouses and community well, water augmentation plan and RV dump.
